A lazy artist is given a magic brush by mischievous fairy that enables him to paint with great skill & copy whatever he sees to a canvas. When asked to paint the unattractive wife of a powerful mayor, the magic brush results in trouble.

Arcani & The Tree of Dreams
Inspired by a Bolivian folktale, this story is about a poor boy who meets a wise shaman while sleeping under a tree. The shaman teaches him the healing qualities of the plants nearby. The boy uses some of healing plants to help the mayor's wife, so mayor exiles him from the town, but calls the boy back when he needs help curing a bad case of hiccups.

Balfour wants an adventure. He decides to sail to a nearby island. His grandmother sews a magic hat for him that will help him adapt to whatever the weather might bring. On the island Balfour meets groups of citizens who isolate themselves from each other. Balfour's hat enables him to be accepted by each group & eventually helps him get the groups to work together.
